Dress up your Seaweed Flower Salad

We all have those days when we want to have a fresh & healthy lunch but we barely have time to make it out of the door.

It's also a great option as a side dish or salad that goes well with any meal!

What is it? This salad is made of dehydrated edible seaweed that is full of protein, fiber, and vitamins & minerals like iodine. Once rehydrated, this salad is light yet filling and super yummy.

It's a delicious and nutritious meal that takes less than 10 minutes to prepare on-the-go! All you need to do is add water, let it grow, drain/pat dry, and enjoy!

~It's also a lot of fun to watch the salad grow almost 4 times its original size~

Here are some tips to make your Seaweed Flower Salad

even more delicious and healthy!

Dress Up Tips

1) Add a light vinaigrette

Light dressings like balsamic vinaigrette, french vinaigrette, or citrus dressings are perfect for enhancing the taste of this Seaweed Flower Salad. Dressings with a higher fat content won't complement the subtle, seaweed taste.

2) Try Chogochujang

Gochujang is a spicy, Korean chili paste used in a huge variety of Korean dishes. Chogochujang is a more liquid version of this paste, with the addition of a little bit of vinegar. If you'd like to add a little spice to your KANEYAMA Seaweed Flower Salad, try adding some of this sauce!

3) Add other veggies

Seaweed is actually a sea vegetable and is one of the healthiest vegetables on the planet! Adding other vegetables to this salad allows you to include your own favorite additional flavors and gain even more health benefits~

Fresh veggies accompany this superfood salad deliciously.

4) Other Toppings

Just like any other salad, you can add protein to your Seaweed Flower Salad. We recommend adding fish, like salmon or tuna.

Also, our KANEYAMA sushi ginger lends a fresh bite and complements the salad perfectly.

This salad can also be eaten as a side dish and it tastes amazing with a bowl of rice!

5) Top it off with Roasted Sesame Seeds

Adding a sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds on top goes a long way. It lends a subtle, savory taste that goes with this salad magnificently. Try it and see for yourself!
